The Day ChalkZone Stood Still" is the New Year’s-themed episode of the Nickelodeon animated series ChalkZone, produced as the first segment of the tenth (and final) episode of the show's fourth and final season.

Synopsis[]

There's supposed to be a rockin' New Year's Eve party in ChalkZone, but unfortunately everyone and everything is frozen in time and place! It's up to Rudy and the gang to track down the culprit - selfish Old Man This Year.

Plot[]

At Rudy's House Joe and Millie were leaving Rudy and Penny at the house letting them watch the ball drop while they were two houses away at the tornquists. Once they left they closed the door and headed for Rudy's Room and Snap was in Rudy's Room as well they told him the coast was clear and they were all ready to go to the big ChalkZone new year celebration Snap said in just a few minutes the great clock in time after time square will chime and then Old Man This Year will pull Baby New Year out of his glass case and turn the crown of time over to him. Once they entered ChalkZone Penny told Rudy to erase the portal so no wild ChalkZone revelers would find their way into real world which Rudy did but found out it was not working he couldn't erase the portal and that wasn't the only thing that was wired. (Something happened when they weren't looking) Everyone and everything was frozen as if something stopped the party dead in it's tracks wondering if their friends were ok? Penny could still feel the pulse in buttered toast mans arm Penny said they were all in some sort of state of suspended animation and Rudy thought it was almost as though time has stood still. Snap looked up at the great clock and he saw that time did stand still. Because Baby New Year never got released and the clocks minute hand was missing which is what froze time and Old Man This Year was missing, too. Rudy drew some mini rockets to his shoes hoping to draw a new minute hand for the clock but the minute hand he drew didn't work it fell of the clock face and landed by it's pointed end. Penny stated that they needed the actual minute hand for ChalkZone time to start up again. So Snap asked Well, where is it? Then Rudy saw Biclops holding something he wrote a message for Rudy before he froze in time and it said R.T. CHECK UNDER EYEBALL BUSH. They spot one and head over to it Snap ask what can you tell me? Rudy wonders what Biclops meant by check under the eyeball bushes Penny thought maybe he meant under the ground in the root system of the eyeball bush. So Rudy drew a garden trowel and he pulls up one of the eyeballs roots and saw that the roots form a kind of filmstrip. As Snap discovered that these bushes have been recording everything they see he said who knew? Rudy draws a special viewmaster for the filmstrip he takes one of the filmstrips they had into the viewmaster and looks into it (It shows what happened when they weren't look). It shows that it looks like Old Man This Year was not too happy about giving up his crown. He cut off the minute hand (Which froze time) and carried it away somewhere in a direction he was running in. So they head in the direction Old Man This Year was going in with the minute hand and had to find more eyeball bushes along the way to show them which way he went (All the paths and turns he took while carrying the minute hand with him)

Trivia[]
